After Covid you may think it’s hard to start a new business, but not in the beauty field. You don’t need a license to start your own spray tanning company. All you need is a place. You can even do it outdoors.
Tanning
I worked in a spa where we did spray tanning all day long. It’s easy and fun.
These are the directions.
When you book the appointment~ Have clients bring an old bathing suit with them. While they change into their suit, you can set up the sprayer.
Next ~ Have them step into the spray booth bare footed. We never spray the bottom of the hand or feet.
Now~ Spray the client having them slowing turning to get an even spray. Have the client lift one arm at a time to spray the top and bottom of the arm. Have them position themselves to get their inner thighs.
That’s it. That’s how easy it is to spray tan. The more clients you do, the quicker you will finish.
The way we charge them in a spa is…
First spray is the highest
Come back the next day for a darker look, charge less
If they come back daily charge even less.
and of course charge them for the extras below

To be honest, I don’t understand the appeal of spray tanning, but it is a good business opportunity!

Spray tanning is a great alternative to going out tanning. I am really into anti-aging. The sun’s harmful rays causes wrinkles. I have even seen people with leathery skin over tan themselves.
My little sister used to go tanning on those sunbeds which people now know cause cancer. She used to go so many times that her skin became wrinkled at a very young age.
That’s when she finally stopped and began spray tanning.
